This webinar will show participants how to implement the cooperative learning pedagogical model in physical education contexts at both the primary and secondary levels. . The presentation will include two main sections: a discussion of cooperative learning theory (i.e., origins, theoretical framework, basic characteristics, etc.) and practical examples of how to implement the model in educational contexts. Participants will learn how to introduce this pedagogical model into their physical education classes using both the simplest games/tasks and the more demanding techniques.
Participants will gain an understanding of:
- Participants will be introduced to a comprehensive approach to cooperative learning as a pedagogical model.
- Participants will be able to explain the main features of cooperative learning.
- Participants will be provided a step-by-step framework to implement cooperative learning in physical education.
