National Health Education Standards Task Force

SHAPE America is proud to champion and safeguard the National Health Education Standards, which serve as the foundation for school-based health education programs across the country.

In late 2021, SHAPE America's National Health Education Standards Task Force began the national standards revision process. The task force has been interested in gaining the perspective of HETE faculty/professors, preK-12 school-based health educators and health education stakeholders.
