The pandemic has illuminated the need for schools to consider students’ physical, mental, and social-emotional health above all else. And, an important part of the solution must be health and physical education.
The good news is that the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) identifies school health and physical education (HPE) as part of a student's well-rounded education. That means that all administrators can take advantage of new funding opportunities to expand their programs and improve the physical, mental and emotional health of their students.
Administrator Series

provide vital leadership in the schools and communities they serve.
This new series highlights administrators from around the country who understand the critical link
between health and education — and who have created school environments that prioritize student health and
wellness.
